I Could Hear Music

Before the ballet, our evening fell
soft & gentle...
We had time,
so we walked over to

As soon as I saw the window,
I could hear music echo in my head
like I was inside of a music box~
For me, the dance had
already begun~

I studied the details immensely...
Pink tulle cotton candy
on white sticks?

Are there really Sugared almonds & tiny
silver balls on the fluffy blush tutu?
The satin slippers lined like
little silk pillows
against the back wall~

Were the
~ribbons ~floating~ wildly~
like confetti at a
party?

Were there shinny balls
strung with real French
Marshmallows
from the ceiling?

Yes!
It was all real!
This time it wasn't
my imagination...
It was so much bigger~
There is Magic
&
Magic is Alive!

I searched for my way back to earth
and found my ground...
A nod and a smile
from my sweet husband...So
I bought these
Shinny Cherry Red
ballet flats
so I'll never forget
our dance before the ballet~
MauH!!!
Have a very Magical week
my tiny dancers~

My Evening at The Opera House

Number 11
was my seat...
At Garnier's Palace
in Paris...

This building radiates
with Energy like a Soul~

Every corner Shines~

The ceiling,
painted by Chagall
whispers to you
and takes you to
a place of Pure
Peace...

The tiny ballerinas
danced like they were
in a little music box.
There was one dance
they wore green
tutu's to their knees and
they
looked like
Christmas Tree Cookies
dancing on a white cake~
They all sparkled
like Sugar...

At the entrance of the gift shop
my heart raced like a child...

Inside was like Magic....

French Library at FrenchBlue!

I can't wait another minute to
share with you!!

just added a NEW floor
specializing in 18th & 19th Century
French books!
You must come see Here!

Inspired from
and more than ever
from the old book stores
in Paris...
The mystery of what
all these beautiful books
must say?
My hunts at the flea markets,
quickly
turned into a passionate search for
Old Paris Books~

For me,
they are for decorating only.
They make my happy just to look
at them... they make me want to dance~
The pages are so old and so thick.
I can only dream to read in French
one day....

Along with my dreams
to walk in the gardens & parks
everyday too~

Playing....

Nothing was sweeter to
me in Paris,
than to watch the
children play...

The pond boats were
still out in October
because it was so warm!

For the first time in my life,
I watched the kids
push them out
&
wait for them to come back~
{It could take an hour to come back to them}

The families gathered
and were so excited
to watch their little ones
ride on the ponies...

This little Mademoiselle
was my favorite...
She collected fall leaves and
made a big bouquet!
It was very very important to her...

more than her merry go round ride.
She was very familiar to me....

I believe she lives in the same
world as I do...

My Sweet Sweet Winners!!

above photo by mimi charmante
I'm Home from Paris!
My journey was
long
&
wonderful...
filled with so much
wonder, beauty
&
surprise~
And I have unpacked
Your prizes from my suitcase~
My moments were having
Laduree cafe'...
or tea in the afternoon...
and

finding
this old plaster cherub
from Laduree at a flea market!
I just hung it
over my kitchen door~

Ok it's time.....
And the winner is.....
Our cheerful sweet one,
Koralee
wished for a
Pink Marie Antoinette
gift box...
from Laduree~

From the flea market,
she wished for
"wee little french creamer"
for her breakfast table
that will make her
"heart happy" to look at
when she is sipping her tea~
So easy to find,
I found it my first
day~

I could not resist our
very blissful
thinking of her
"little crumb",
Gaia Miette~
She explained her name means
little crumb or little pearl
in French.
So our sweet Melissa
aka Simply Mel
is my winner too!
Her wish was the
Les Secrets watercolor Journal
from Laduree...

and a French story book for her little crumb...
printed in Paris
from the flea market~
Melissa's amazing boutique
offers treasures of
purity
&
balance
you can visit it Here~

I loved searching for all of you~
Thank you for playing with me
&
giving me the fun of hunting
just for you!
My real treasure was watching time
move slow...
&
the children play
it was like heaven~
Mauhhhhh!!!
