me in Paris,
than to watch the
children play...
still out in October
because it was so warm!
I watched the kids
push them out
&
wait for them to come back~
{It could take an hour to come back to them}
and were so excited
to watch their little ones
ride on the ponies...
This little Mademoiselle
was my favorite...
She collected fall leaves and
made a big bouquet!
It was very very important to her...
more than her merry go round ride.
She was very familiar to me....
I believe she lives in the same
world as I do...

Such lovely pictures! I wish I were there!
ReplyDeleteBonjour! Beautiful post. I think this is one of the reasons the Luxembourg Gardens are so popular. You captured all the fun and excitement perfectly!
ReplyDeleteYour world is so stunningly beautiful...and I love that you share it with us.

Oh that just sounds like a wonderful day! When I visited Paris, my favorite part was going to the parks and seeing all of the ducks in the fountains! Didn't get to see kids playing with boats and stuff though.
ReplyDeleteNext time!
Well hello there lovely, French Blue lady,
ReplyDeleteI have simply adored and have been consistently blown away by your taseful blog for some time!..,
It's lovely to see that you're enjoying your trip to France and those lovely pond boats, with the whimsicality of how much the children are enjoying them as well!
After I finish my quick note to you my dear, I'll enjoy having a detailed look at your equisite blog, as I haven't had a chance to peruse it in a while..,
Please feel welcome, amidst all of your understanably busy, yet oh so enjoyable schedule these days, to pop on by to my little corner of the blogging world!..,
You will see my original digital, romantic realism, dreamscapes of sorts, and other tidbits of lovelies, amongst my six blogs; (one bog is for my dearest mom), and the others showcase my other interests..,
Cheers and warmest regards from Silken Purse!
Janet,
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you for reminding us about the joy of having a mind like a child. So often we are unimpressed by some of the most wonderous things in our world that God has created for us. I look forward to watching my daughter collecting leaves for an autumn bouquet... Bonne nuit, mon amie.

Oh! I was there at that pond - with the little sailboats . . . I should have known about Laduree then. I would have adored the macaroons. Someday I'll return to Paris.
