Carriere Freres Industrie

Once in a while, something comes along that inspires an

obsession within me.

The first time I saw these candles was at

 Cire Trudon

in Paris.

They continued to quietly strum in my mind. 

Words like... Harvested for its strongly aromatic leaves, black tea is known for its stimulating virtues. The leaves are oxidized and turned into ‘black tea’, a process invented by the British in the XIX century. Once infused into hot water, the solution sends out a comforting woody green scent.

They were founded in 1884, by the inquisitive minds of two brothers,

 Carrière Frères Industrie

is the keeper of wax craftsmanship from the XVIII century.

The Carrière brothers were

Fascinated by Botanic,

 they methodically created a formula for a pure vegetable wax.

The result was a recipe, free of paraffin,

 it does not produce smoke and easily blends with botanic oils. 

The candles are made by Cire Trudon in Paris!

They can be purchased directly online from

in Australia.

They make me want to grow my own tea garden! 

I would clean and dry my own leaves!

I want to

 cleanse all my sences to the most organic state

 I possibly can!

When I Smile...

When I see a photo that makes me smile...

I always want to share it with you!

It truly makes me want to pack for a fun weekend getaway up the coast 

or

maybe even book a last minute trip to Paris to see the flower shops

&

 have the scent of a chocolat bunny float slowly by my nose tempting me to eat his ears~~

I Trust

Do you ever have a craving that your not sure exactly what it is?

I do.

I think it is because many things are all rolled into one.

I'm craving the cleansing and the scent of

 natural plants, herbs

& 

green tea!

But the funny thing is that it seems to be leading me to repaint, but not with just any paint.

So then this is leading me to a favorite stop of mine in Paris,

Flamant.  

ok.

So then....

I begin to wonder and obsess about what shade of grey do I want to paint...

which then leads me to thoughts of a Chateau in the South of France

 to somewhere that looks very much like this~ 

So...

 my journey makes me stop and wonder,

 what exactly am I craving...?

Then to find out,

I am content to know that I am not really sure. 

But I am sure,

I am at peace

 with my very own process of thoughts,

 even though I don't know exactly why they are.

&

  I know that I am very grateful that I have the space in my mind to dream~

because I trust that it will take me somewhere very beautiful!

Have you ever bought yourself a Valentine present?

I think this year...

 I have to!

My shoe of choice for ballet flats have always been

Repetto's.  

But I can't help myself fall in love with these shoes from

 and thought they would be perfect to wear for 

Valentines Day! 

 

Then I saw these from French Sole New York on sale

for almost half off!

Then...

 I found THESE!!

They remind me of a Yves St. Laurent dress I just saw on a documentary

L'Amour Fou

that you must see!

But something about these black flats that just came in at

French Sole
