Indeed I do like pink and black together. I'm currently planning a bridal shower with those colors, so your posted photos are a fun inspiration.
ReplyDeleteDearest Janet,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this color combo - tres chic! And funny story, a friend left a gigantic stuffed Zebra at our front door this morning, so when Gaia went outside she was greated by this 'bezra' as she calls it. Needless to say, she has a very LARGE new friend that she insists on going everywhere with. Oh the fun it will be to ride around in the car with a 'bezra' - too bad it isn't pink and black. Hmmmm...perhaps, I can remedy this situation. :)
Bisous,
Melissa
Love the pink umbrella or should we call it a parrasol since it is so pretty and pink,Kathysue

Hello to you Janet!
ReplyDeleteYes! Even though I am not normally that much of a pink person, I do love pink and black together and that Juicy Couture picture is very fun! Isn't it funny how certain color combinations seem to remind you of certain times and places? When we were in Paris, it seemed that everything was a cherry pink-red, chartreuse and black!
Wishing you a happy pink and black day!
Betty
Oh I love pink and black, it's a wonderful pairing, a match made in heaven!
ReplyDeleteI adore black licorice too!! It reminds me of my beloved Lebanese Grandmother who always had black licorice buttons in a cut crystal candy dish with a lid. I have so many fond memories of sitting and visiting with her and soaking in her precious wisdom and eating my fill of her licorice buttons.
She had a sweet tooth and used to hide candy all over her house but licorice buttons were her favorite! She never had licorice allsorts though... where can I find those? I'd love to get some and put them in a candy dish in her honor!! They look wonderfully delicious to boot.
Thanks for bringing me down memory lane today, any time I think about my Sitti is a gift!!!
~xo always

Lovely color combination -- very classic together. I use to like pairing pink and brown together, as well.
ReplyDeleteNow if you do not mind-- I will put on my black and pink stripe tights wear my fancy flower power boots, oh yes that umbrella will do just fine and now go for a walk about on that beautiful proud- zebra/horse? Of course will take some tasty licorice buttons with me to share with everyone I met. So lovely and fun. Having joy and bringing joy is a good thing.
Happy blogging
