Buttercream

There is something about
Buttercream
..that is always so inviting to me~

It makes me feel calm & content inside.

But at the same time...
it also makes me want to S~CrEaM inside!!

Have you ever had Buttercream

ice cream

with a Buttercream cupcake?
~~~
~~
For some reason this week I am craving
Buttercream!!!
~~~ I believe it's because My Mom always had buttermints for every special occasion. If there were buttermints brought home to our house, I knew, something special is going to happen very soon!

I Hope your week is being good to you my sweet & special friends!!

  8. Sounds like somebody has a SWEET TOOTH!! I can definitely relate to that! Sometimes to be able to indulge in something so decadent and innocent as Butter Cream is complete bliss!! Thank you FRENCHBLUE for pointing out the simpler joys in life that are so easily forgotten or overlooked in our busy lives.

  13. Lovely images! Our first set of towels were the color Buttercream, they were a very pale, delicate yellow, sadly no longer made....and we actually always keep Buttermints on hand and have all the neighborhood kids addicted to them - just kidding, but they do come over quite a bit and stare at the Apothocary Jar I store them in. I always ask them to use their manners when asking for some and one little boy recently said "May I have a buddamint please and thank you" all at once...so cute.

  14. Oh I am thinking this would be the perfect name for a bakery...Buttercream. So perfect.

    Thinking of you today as my daughter Molly arrives in Paris. Just wish I was with her. Hugs. oxoxoxox

  15. I smiled when I read about something special is happening when buttercreams are bought as the same thing happened at my childhood home. When Mom brought them home I knew that the Circle Meeting would be at our home that week and that meant we kids got the leftovers. That was a treat because we rarely had candy in the house. :) Thanks for the memories and your photos are wonderful. xo
