The Four Tides



There is a secret behind this door.
A special someone
that I want you to meet...

In Laguna Beach, California, there are four "tides,"
which are cottages:
Low Tide, High Tide, Red Tide and Ebb Tide.
Our family lives in one of these cottages.
It is a place by the ocean, with many visitors--
more in the barefoot days of summer.
Everyone exhales.
Everyone is the type of person who can handle
sand in the house
and nights on the deck that never seem to end.

    Janet,

    Oh, this is wonderful news. I have been a subscriber to Romantic Homes for 5 or 6 years and I was a subscriber when Jacquine became the new editor. I always enjoy reading her editor's letter at the beginning of each issue and I feel like I already know her. I love the way she helped to "revamp" Romantic Homes into a magazine that embraces a romantic, international flair of decorating.

    I am so happy she has started a blog...I know that she must be a very busy lady!

    I hope that you are doing well and "balancing" your act with true happiness.

    Dearest Beloved Janet ~

    I just enjoyed a very long visit at "The Four Tides" blog ~ and I fell hard for Jacqueline's words! And those sweet girls ~ too cute!

    Sean, of course, is ready to move right into one of the cottages and never leave! Oh how he loves Laguna!

    Believe it or not, I'm feeling a strong force pulling us South once all our holdings are settled off here. I find it very liberating not knowing where our path is headed, but I do know that it is going to be a fabulous journey.

    Thank you for introducing me to another incredibly talented and big-hearted soul.

    What a lovely introduction to Jacqueline's new blog and I did go over and say welcome. Another wonderful voice from the other CA, the one of beautiful beaches (not red maple leafs).
