ReplyDeleteYou are too sweet...I would love to come for tea and cookies. Those Russian teacakes look lovely...my favourite cookie would be gingersnaps...must be warm. I am so glad you are back...how was your trip with the girls? I bet you had a wonderful time. Sending you lots of Joy and Love for the best Christmas week ever my faithful friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet,
ReplyDeleteI have first got to say that I saw the photos of you and your daughters on Lynns blog and you are such a beautiful looking family....you must be very proud of your daughters.
My favourite accompaniment to a good old cup of tea would be either a biscotti biscuit or a pink champagne truffle.....delicious. XXXX
Hi Janet,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! How was your trip?
I can only imagine how wonderful it was.
Love your new post...always so beautiful.
My favorite cookies are frosted sugar cookies which my incredible husband is baking right this minute! I found these great copper cookie cutters of the Eiffel Tower, a fleur de lis, and a crown.
We are going to frost, sugar and paint them later tonight!

Every little last one....that is my problem, I love them all! xv
ReplyDeleteOMG the deer ... she would most definitely be invited to any party I throw !(her sense of style makes up for her personality) Janet, my mother's Russian tea cookies and sugar cookies are my fave Christmas cookies too (and believe it or not, I was eating said s. cookie when I opened your post ! ) Caught me !
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas,
Lisa
Oh the first photo is so funny. This is so gorgeous, I'd have tea with you any day of the week.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas darling,
xxx
Ooooh, I love Christmas cookies of all kinds! But my two favorites range from the super-easy but super elegant Kourabiedes (a yummy Greek butter cookie) to something messy to eat, but just as easy to make! I call them "Chinese Spider Cookies from Mars" (!!!). You melt peanut butter, dark chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together, then mix them with chow mein noodles and drop them in messy little globs onto foil or waxed paper! Yum! I could eat a ton!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I just love your little deer friend at the top of your post! Very strange but very cute!
xo,
Betty
