Feather Plumes

Feathers,
for many reasons
have always been special to me~
I love these white feather shoes
from Paris!!

And
this ring would tickle someones fancy...
or maybe someones nose~~

There is something about this dress,
more than being
glamorous
&
whimsical~
it radiates elegance
&
it shimmers...

Oh gosh...
Feather Dior shoes~

Feathers are so light...
in a very honest sort of way~

So airy...
My favorite are white feathers...
but
I even love feathers in
coral pink
&
blush
and a little
black is o.k. too~

This ostrich feather bolero is
the very Best!

A feather chandelier!
So unique
like a cloud~

Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire
dancing
with feathers~
I love feathers!
Have you ever seen
a feather float in the sky?

A
vintage millinery feather
headpiece~

Have a very light & feathery...
whimsical & airy...
elegant & shimmery...
unique & honest...
kind of week~
And
let your days, hours & minutes
dance,
like feathers~

  6. You always have the best images in your posts. I have been on the hunt for some larger feather plumes to put into a jar for display.

    No luck so far.

  9. I was watching White Christmas the other day with my little grandson (don't ask) and I would love one of those big feather fans big enough to hide behind that were used in the film.

  10. Wow wow wow! What great photos! Can you imagine wearing that ring? or the Dior shoes? I really like the millinery headpiece. Looks like turquoise on there. Would be cool as a brooch!

  11. Not in the least bit practical or, in some cases humane, but often so dramatically beautiful were I able to clear my mind of the other... Be well.

  20. I'll take that feather Chandelier!

..my prom dress, many, many years ago, was a 1930's inspired, dark, rich purple, with feather cap sleeves. It was my Fashion-design-final-exam-come-to-life. I announce my Self as a French Floozy.... and paraded around like wise. ;P
