Have you noticed that wood is back?
~~~
My dream is an organic home.
There is nothing more beautifulthan simplicity to me.
Some like it painted white.
Wood is warm and real.
It can be modern and current.
It can be very French and rustic.
It is natures art.
It can be raw, inviting
&
amazing!
Have A week that is
Real, Warm
&
Beautiful!
XO's
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!! And that last chair, OMG!! You seriously win the prettiest blog award!!
ReplyDeletemy parents have a driftwood table just like the one above w/ round glass too and it's so sophisticated !
I love natural wood, well actually all woods! I have a friend that found a piece of driftwood at the beach and took it home, cut it and had a custom glass top made for their beach home...it's perfection, much like the photo of the one you featured.
ReplyDeleteOh, that second photo is superb! Loving it! This gets me pumped for beach summer adventures. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteBeatriz.
Oh, man! Beautiful. The chair is a little odd, though, but creative!
ReplyDeleteI love when driftwood is dragged home.
ReplyDeleteI do it as often as I can but, nothing so far as big as these.
Janet,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! I love the stool with the white fur, and the diningroom image is gorgeous! You put your magical FrenchBlue touch on even the simplest of nature's offering and you made it even more beautiful.
Is your name Fin?
ReplyDeleteDearest and Cherished Janet,
ReplyDeleteYour are a beautiful organic soul inside and out....and I already miss you dearly! We arrived home in the wee hours of this morning, and I must say there is nothing like waking up in your own soft, comfy bed! As I told Noel, the highlight of the trip for us all was meeting both of you! I'm still on cloud 9 from just knowing that my life has been enriched a thousand fold because of you two incredibly special ladies. Sean and I are completely smittened and we cannot wait to see you and Noel again soon (perhaps the first of May!). A more formal note will be on its way, but I am in awe of the perfect gifts bestowed upon us...and truly bewildered how you have copies of Vicki's book! I've been waiting so patiently for this - now I have it and will hold dearly forever. Already read most of it!
Thinking of you so very much and wishing you the most glorious of organic weeks!
Bisous,
Melissa
This just tells me that I need to move down the beach from you......so beautiful and natural. I would be alking all day though and would never get anything done. That's alright isn't it now and again. Beautiful post Janet and so you. You got to meet Mel ! So wonderful and I can picture that visit. XO
ReplyDeleteWow, love all these beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day!! xo
Beautiful Blog i am so glad to find you!
ReplyDeleteQueen Janet,
ReplyDeleteI just love these refreshing images of the tables with the wood pedestals!! I agree with Queen Sandy, I just feel like giving up my Transitional style home and move down to the beach for the entire summer!!! And I hate the beach!!! But with these images I may have a change of heart:))
Daisy
My dream is also an organic home in front of the sea
ReplyDeleteI also love wood even though I earn a living by painting it. There are certain woods I will not touch - too beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour blog are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
You gave me no choice. I must follow your blog. Your pictures are too inspirational and beautiful not to.
ReplyDeleteI am an aspiring Interior Designer (still in school). I have noticed wood is back and in a beautiful way. It has never looked more feminine than how you've shown here.
Your blog is so beutiful! Nice pictures.
As I get older I find I'm drawn to much simpler and clean design. The natural elements I am so fond of. To have a large wood table made out of a single slab is to me a true work of art. I adore this post. Your blog is always such a joy! How fun that you & your daughter got to meet Mel. Sounded like such fun. Your daughters blog is incredible too. Great, lovely rest of the week to you Janet.
ReplyDeleteDear Janet,
ReplyDeleteOooo, I'm so pleased to see wood making a come back. It really makes a house so much warmer and organic, doesn't it ?
I love the images that you have shown us (as usual, they are the most beautiful photographs on the planet !!) and I think that my style in wood, would have to be French and rustic.
How lovely that you got to meet Melissa and her wonderful family. It sounds as if you all got on famously and had a lovely time together.
Isn't blogging just the BEST thing ? XXXX
beautiful and amazing!I love driftwoods creations
ReplyDeleteval
ReplyDeleteI really crave that organic vibe in my home also. Your pictures capture the feeling well. Jackie at Home mentioned you today in her post. I stopped by to say hello, as I am already a follower who has never commented on your pretty posts. Have a beautiful day.
