With an ice chandelier hanging over the bed...
Oh and a cozy corner to curl up and read a book!
Another sitting area....
Maybe you like this Suite better?
Or this one?
Spa treatments are available too....
and some get married here...
They even have boutiques in them...
to buy ice stuff....

Hotel de Glace it is in Canada.
Also in Sweeden.
I love the decor, so simple & natural...

I like to be warm.

I have always been fascinated by the Ice Hotel. What an amazing concept and surreal environment. The lighting is exquisite as well. I'd be up to going!

Have just found your blog and love it! I will add you to my blog roll...
ReplyDeleteI saw this on the Travel channel not to long ago...AMAZING!!!!
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable! Thanks for posting these pics, I never would believe something like that would exist. I can't imagine sleeping on the ice bed?!
ReplyDeleteGoodness...what does the bathroom look like?
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine went to an Ice Bar somewhere in Sweden (or was it Switzerland) some years ago.
I have just discovered your blog! It's so beautiful! I will happily add it to my blog roll.
ReplyDeleteI am really fascinated by the Ice Hotels, although I agree with you that I like to be warm too much to actually go to one! Also, if you put your cup of tea down, it might melt through a tabletop! That would surely be a terrible faux pas!
Thank you for all the beautiful eye-candy!
