She Had Me at Bonjour...A Love Story

A True Love Story....
French Husband said to Corey...
"What would you like for your 5oth Birthday?"
She answered....
"Outside Curtains like the ones we saw in Venice".....
French Husband replied..
"Would you like the windows too?"

I am in love with the story of this woman.
She had me at Bonjour.
Corey Amaro is from California,
she met her French Husband in San Francisco
nearly 20 years ago. Corey only knew 3 french words.
They began in a small apartment in Paris.
The two now live in Provence.
Her blog Tongue in Cheek is
absolutely amazing & a treat to unfold.
It is her story of living in France &
her love of flea markets & antiquing.
I dig and become lost for hours
in her stories and photographs.

She shares her family, her friends,
neighbor stories, her cooking & her beach
hunts for glass & beach pottery~
She brings the French Brocante Markets to you
with her delicious and most treasured finds....

Corey's photography captures texture and even scent!

Every page and word of this blog
is important and inspiring.

She shares her beautiful home and favorite corners~

And her found mysteries like this old letter discovered in a stack
of others but this one was never opened!
Not only is it an old unopened letter,
it is cloth!!

Her eye is like no other...

She shares her art & remodeling,
her colors,
her sad days & her happy
days...

Her contests are fun and make
some of us actually think~
Corey is Beautiful inside and out.
She will make you laugh... and cry.
You will fall in love with her &
feel as though you've known her forever...
Enjoy this very special person and blog
Tongue in Cheek~

~Special Ness~

Fairly new to blogging,
It didn't take me long to fall in
love with Marley & Lockyer.
I studied, I investigated & I learned,
Ness, is very special...

Ness is an Amazing
Artist & Creator...

Ness is a Designer of All things Beautiful.
Ness is a Mom of two boys, Delcan & Mason,
A Wife to Mic, A Friend,
A Sister, A Daughter
&
~A Decorator~

Ness knows the beauty in simplicity
and the art in nature...
She sees quality and has
an eye for excellence~

Ness Designs Pillows~
She sews them
&
hand paints each one
individually~

This one is my favorite
&
my daughter's favorite,
Noel of Fanciful Designs.
Noel showed me these pillows
and has been wanting one for
way too long. So....
I contacted Ness to help me
with Noel's & her sister Jeanna's
Easter basket~
Ness sewed & painted four pillows for me
&
shipped them right out.
I got to keep two!
We were both so excited,
we had a secret to share!!
But not as excited as Noel was when
she saw what the bunny brought to her!!
Surprise Noel!! (See bottom picture of Noel with her pillow:)
Jeanna loves hers too.
Thank You Ness!

The pillows are made with high quality
Crisp White Linen
&
Deep European pockets,
A Marley & Lockyer
label tag on the side...
her famous
logo
M & L

&
I also love Ness's clay art.
She
made four all white tags...
to hang on each basket!
They are beautiful
and embellished
like old architecture!

She added a surprise for me...
An all white clay feather!

I hung it on my chandelier...
with other favorite pieces~
Thank You Ness!

This picture tells all of
what Ness loves....

And at the end of the day....
Ness dreams of
White flower gardens,
Zinc tables,
Old French baskets,
White crisp linens
&
New fresh designs
just for us...
Here are a few of
Ness's new items
she has made!
You can puchase them

Egg Hunt in Provence!

Easter in Provence!
Please Come along with me.....
I'm going on an Easter egg hunt
in France and your invited!!
It will be in the lavender fields....

My favorite time of year...
Everything is in full bloom!

Put on your best dress...

and get your Easter bonnet too...

Come on!
Follow Me....
Hurry let's go!!

Pick out a basket...

O.K...
On your mark....
Get set...
Ready...
Go!!

We'll run through lavender fields...

Oh! There's some eggs!!
I want a blue one!!

Can you smell the lavender?
I can!

I will fill my basket with honey ....
Bzzzzzzzz......

Look at this beauty!
The wings of an angel...

We can get lost chasing butterflies....
if you want to...

Another blue egg!!
Can I have this one too?
Please...
Pretty Please
??

I want these eggs
but I think
I better
leave this nest
alone...

I will collect bundles of lavender...
there's enough for you too!

Here put some in your basket!

I will feed the ducks...
and fill my basket and pockets
with moments & memories...
of being here.

I love baby chicks!
They remind me of...

new beginnings...

I'll pull some fresh carrots from the earth...

I will gather peace
because
this lamb reminds me of
a higher place to be...

I wish you an Easter
filled with
childhood dreams,
like chocolate filled eggs
and enchanted beauty,
magic
and wonder!

Please tell me...I want to know...
What did you put in your Easter Basket?
Happy Easter to You!!
