My Paris Flea Market

I want to introduce you
to my mentor and one of my
very best friends!
Lucy from

It all began almost 20 years ago,
before shabby was chic,
before anyone painted furniture white,
before faded silk & old cabbage rose fabric,
before chandeliers became a necessity~
I peeked in her windows before I met her
with another friend of mine
who told me all about her...

OMG!!!

I knew I would never be the same.
I had just found the
Real Goddess of HOME~
I wanted my house to look...
Just. Like. Hers!

I saw
HUGE old crystal beaded chandeliers
turning lavender, from the sun,
BIG White Crusty Seashells,
OLD Cement Garden Statues & Urns!
A home that honestly looked just like I pictured
Heaven to be~

I have followed her everyday since
with the utmost respect.
If you want,
you can take a peek at Lucy's online shop

Lucy has also just created
a brand new new blog!!!
You must go visit & follow Lucy's world
with me HERE!
You will be happy you did!
Have a good week my darling ones!!!

XO

  1. Thanks to you introducing me to Lucy all those years ago. She truly was an inspiration to so many of us and really started the "shabby" movement before anyone. I don't know if everyone realizes that, but I'm so glad that you did this post so now they will.

Kudos to Lucy! She is the Queen and still the role model for all!!!

  2. Like you, I've always loved shabby, white, pink, aged and old. Chandeliers have always been a favorite since childhood.

I love your photos...that pink bus is to cute :)

    Blessings,
