For the first time in my life,
I am looking for lots of space.
Space in my home...
It feels SO GOOD good to get something out
of my house as it used to feel bringing
something home and placing it somewhere
special~
Space is like breathing fresh air.
Love love love you all
&
have a week full of
beautiful beautiful
space!

I love thses rooms, especially the first one!!! Daphne
ReplyDeleteAwww, you're so right about this! Space is so important, and it's such a relieve sometimes to get rid of things. Things - and people - need space to shine! I love the combination of white and wooden floors on your photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spaces! I love the amount of light coming through in the first two! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo agreed..sometimes I just want to empty my home of all my "STUFF"..and just have space! Happy week to you too my friend. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteJanet,
ReplyDeleteThis spacious post is just beautiful. I just love ceiling to floor windows with long curtains that touch the floor with sunlight streaming in. There is so much truth to the need for space, the need to lessen the clutter and have a clear home and mind!
Have a wonderful week, my friend!

I think that it's something to do with age, Janet !! As I get older, I want to get rid of more things although, I'm not very good at it !! haha.

These are wonderful. Especially the last one and I so know what you mean about getting rid of things. So freeing!
ReplyDeleteEnchanting, a very soft pallet and clear clean space in which to dream, love and create in. Beautiful and dreamy photographs.

I know what you mean about space. I wish I didn't get so attached to all the things I buy. I end up moving all my "unwanted stuff" to the guest bedroom... My problem is that I can't let go of my treasures.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could store them in the room in picture number 1. It's a beautiful space.
Thank you so much
It's a wonderful house ! Thank you so much for these beautiful pictures, I LIKE your blog !
ReplyDeleteSorry for my bad english.
Have a good day, see you soon...

I'm all about the chic minamilst look. J'adore the first picture!
ReplyDeleteSpace is such a wonderful gift...and it always amazes me how the correct placement of furniture immediately creates the feeling of so much space in a room. That right arrangement is even more important than the beauty of the items! Thanks so much for sharing such lovely images...I love love love wide plank rustic flooring, and the white interiors just let that gorgeous wood sing!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Hope Ava
lovely! 'liberated' is how I describe it. my husband often asks, 'do you feel liberated now?' after a particular cleaning out...
ReplyDeletenothing better...
now to break out the white paint as well...
Oh I'm so hearing you! My husband has just had a shipping container of goods delivered from South Africa so we are bursting at the seams! For someone who loves to live a clutter-free existence, it is challenging to say the least! SPACE give me SPACE!
ReplyDeleteAngela x
PS - you have a beautiful blog (will add you to my blogroll so I can share you with all my lovely readers)
This must happen to each one of us at some point. I collected, collected, loved all of it...but now I want sleek, polished, urbane "loft-looking" interiors...no frills (except for the poofy draping curtains)...just clean architectural elements & fine furniture kept to a minimum. xx's
ReplyDeletewow

Why is it as we get older we want to get rid of things and we crave space? Lovely images Janet....xv
