ReplyDeleteYou always find the prettiest of pictures. Really lovely.
ReplyDeletefirst of all you are WRONG!!! No one could ever hate a marshmallow. That would be like hating a puupy (please see my site to help me with this one...) Marshmallows are DIVINESS!! any way shape or form. Peeps rule supreme!!! S'mores are their ladies in waiting! LOVE them. Do you understand that I really like marshmallows? XOXO Kim
ReplyDeleteI forget to tell you in my marshmallow frenzy how much I lov these divine images!!!! XOXO Kim
ReplyDeleteMarshmallows and I go waaaay back! Always loved them, and now, I believe the prettier they are the better they taste - ha! But I only like them in pure form...not drenched in chocolate or bobbing around in cocoa, keep it pure and simple!
ReplyDeleteLast week we bought some orange pink and white marshmallows. Something different and very yummie.
ReplyDeletewho in the world does not like marshmallows?? they are pillows of happiness... my guilty pleasure... the melted goodness of the schmooorreeee
ReplyDeleteI am such a dessert girl, and your blog is like dessert for me! The photos you post are absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you for my dessert this evening my friend~

I absolutely love marshmallows, but some more than others. I need them to be really, really soft and billowy and can't stand them if they are at all stale. They need to be as fresh as fresh can be.I do believe that the pink ones taste different to the white ones but love both equally.I need one now and I just happen to have a packet in the cupboard but, if you read my post today ( you don't have to !! ) you will see that having marshmallows would not be a good idea !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a big, white fluffy one over the fire girl. Lightly toasted to the color of coffee in your milk. You can never eat just one!!!! Love these images! As always.

Quick, funny story. We were driving through some farmland and came across these huge bales of hay, but the farmers now cover them in white plastic and stack them in the fields.there were hundreds of them. As we came upon them my husband said "oh look, a marshmallow farm". I laughed so hard I almost you know what. Every time I see a marshmallow I think of that and laugh. But I do love, love marshmallows, even the great big ones. Great post Janet....fabulous photos as always.
ReplyDeleteI must be the person you know who only likes them in hot chocolate! ;D

I adore marshmallows! My grandson Jackson & I eat marshmallows together. He knows GrandMary always has a secret stash to share!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to know there's a whole world of marshmallow lovers.
Now you're talking...I just love them in all there squashy , billowyness (!!)They have to be fresh, fresh, fresh and in pure form...no toasting or dipping in chocolate,, no making them in other colours or sprinkling them with coconut ( on second thoughts..I could be tempted ! ) No....they must be white or pink. The pnk does taste different to the white. I wonder what it is ? Probably some deadly food colouring. All this talk about marshmallows makes me want one....I have a packet in the cupboard but I'd better not. Have a look at my post today and see why !!!!!!( That's not an order, You don't have to !! )Oh, and thanks so much for putting me in your list of Makes me Smile.....I am honoured, although I will never get to your beautiful standard XXXX
ReplyDeleteYum......you have made me want to run out and buy a bag of them:-)

My dear pure eye candy today...thanks for making so me happy!
ReplyDeleteahh, i so love marshmallows! In smores, especially! I think they are so cute too, in all the fun colors. I have been wanting to try my hand at homemade marshmallows, and I think you have inspired me to get to it. Love your images, they really do remind one of marshmallows.
ReplyDeleteI love those marshmellow ropes especially when they are fashioned into something like a lollipop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, very elegant post!!! I think you will enjoy my latest post in my Blog - I suppose we both get inspired by guilty pleasures :-)))
ReplyDeleteI do like Marshmallows, but I don't think I've ever had the pink ones! I love them toasted over a campfire, but only if they have caught on fire and are all black and crispy on the outside and all extra gooey in the middle!!! But my favorite use of them is in Rice Krispy Treats! I loved that so much when I was little that I would request my mother make that instead of a birthday cake!

Marshmallows are best served on a scewer, on fire, charred and gooey in the middle, preferably while sitting at a beach bonfire, waves crashing all around you. A lovely inspiring post with really pretty pictures. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love them! Always have. We used to break into the supply my mother had and eat them all. She would get mad when she went to make something and they were all gone. Tee Hee
ReplyDeleteYou can make fun of my marshmallow farm all you want Janet.....it was hilarious, really. We only have them on this end of the country though so i'll see if I can take a photo next time I come across one!
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with marshmallows, how did you know? The most stunningly visual and tasty post. I so want that pink fur settee for my bedroom. Beautiful, again...
ReplyDeleteHello Janet!
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of marshmallows but I am a huge fan of this post!!! You make me want to gobble up a morsel of those fluffy creations even though they are not my favorite ;) Another fabulous post! How do you do it?
