Yesterday was one of those days a mother will always remember. I watched as a slow motion picture of a lifetime with my babygirl flash before me. I thought it was only yesterday that she was small. But yesterday was the day we went wedding dress shopping to become someones Beautiful Bride!
She has planned, laughed, shared & cried with her sweet forever friend Erin all about just how this dress shall look.
There were very few dresses tried on. To be exact, only three. Her beautiful sister Jeanna & Moi by her side.
As we studied and listened to her, we both knew she is not playing dress up anymore. She has become a beautiful woman of her very own. Noel knows exactly what she wants.

So sweet and what a special mother/daughter moment! I will always remember wedding dress shopping with my mother, and I know your daughter will too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that so much !!! So beautiful ...My favorite, the two children on the beach.. Love it !
ReplyDeleteOh my, Janet~
ReplyDeleteThese three dresses look so beautiful and perfectly fanciful for Noel and, of course, a pure white dress is the perfect palette for her. There's something very beautiful about that last dress with the graceful one-shoulder lace piece...I have no doubt she will be the most beautiful bride!
So glad you shared a glimpse of the special day with us.
Bon week-end,
Mandy

Dearest Janet,
ReplyDeleteYou are so very, very lucky to be able to be with Noel while she plans her wedding. I am so happy for both of you. It wasn't so long ago when I was sending pictures of the dresses I was considering to my mother, since she could be with me while I was planning the wedding. Now that I am cleaning out and organizing so many things in her house since she has gone to the nursing home, I have found all these letters I wrote her then. And even on days when she doesn't really know who we are, she still talks about our wedding. I'm so grateful for the day that provided such precious memories to not just us, but to her as well.

A beautiful post written with beautiful memories, of that I am sure. We are planning a wedding here also. It all seems so surreal....that grown up man was just climbing trees a few years ago....right?
